Are you ready to fall in love with life and embrace your life's purpose? This two-part advanced, personal development program is an in-depth exploration of the Way of the Medicine Horse as a profound journey of self-discovery and transformation. With horses as your inspiration and guides, you'll learn skills for increasing self-awareness, tapping into your inner guidance and accessing inner peace, and develop an approach to life that enables you to live deeply and awaken to your life's purpose.

A maximum of ten (10) carefully chosen individuals will meet for a week on two occasions, with reading assignments and conference calls in-between weeks. Prior to acceptance in the program, applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an introductory level Eponaquest Approach workshop.

The overarching theme of the NOW program is beautifully described by Sue Monk Kidd in her book, When the Heart Waits:

"Is it possible, I asked myself, that I am being summoned from some deep and holy place within? Am I being asked to enter a passage in the Spiritual life, the journey from false self to true self? Am I being asked to dismantle old masks and patterns and unfold a deeper, more authentic self, the one I intended to be? Am I being compelled to disturb my inner universe in quest of the undiscovered being who clamors from within?"

In response to those questions, the NOW program focuses on teaching you how to take new tools and expanded self-awareness back into your life, family, relationships, and community. You'll learn how to be more authentic, set healthy boundaries, and actually live from a larger perspective of who you are and what's possible for you. You'll also learn how to apply Eponaquest Approach principals to everyday life: congruency over conformity, authenticity over perfection, and adaptability and inquisitiveness over methodology.

In her book-in-progress titled Who Am I Without My Story, Carol Roush writes, "Our inner guidance began gently nudging us along in the direction of our life's purpose almost from birth. What you were attracted to, inspired by, and interested in, as a child, contained the seeds of what you intended for your life. We basically spend the first 20 years primarily surviving, the second 20 years exploring life, accumulating tools, and clarifying life purpose, and then the third 20 years is to be spent actually doing what we each came here intending to do. When we are unconsciously engaged in this process, as many of us are, it is like feeling our way through a dark tunnel filled with obstacles that we rather blindly struggle our way around, over, or through. We intuitively keep pushing ourselves forward because we have an inner knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel and we are meant to bask and thrive in that light. Now imagine this journey with full aware consciousness. It would be like realizing you are carrying a backpack full of tools and that one of those tools is a million candlepower flashlight. Now those same obstacles are navigated and the path to your life's purpose is illuminated clearly. With this clarity comes inspiration; new ideas fire your imagination and you relish each step along your path."

• Energy Boundary Work with horses

• Mindfulness Practices including meditation, drumming, and shamanic journeying
• Developing Intuitive Communication with horses as your guides
• Horse Dancing: the courage to feel and the willingness to act
• Consensual Leadership Techniques
• Reflective Riding
• Creating Authentic Community and the Sacred Space of Possibility for self and others
  

In the end, what horses know is that everything changes...constantly. They teach us to be mindful of the present moment, free of preoccupation and judgment. We heal the past by being in the present moment, free to explore the future. It is then that we are automatically imbued with lightheartedness; it is then that we can step far enough from our old survival beliefs and behaviors to make room for imagination, creativity, a sense of humor, self-acceptance, and loving kindness that are at the core of our authentic selves. It is from this connected place within that we discover the true nature of who we are, create authentic relationships, and live in peace. In the safe and congruent environment of the NOW program you will have the opportunity to explore what feels emotionally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually expansive for you and become truly awake to your life's purpose!

PARTICIPANT APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS
NOW programs meet the prerequisites for application to the Eponaquest Apprenticeship Program for those who wish to study with Linda Kohanov to become an Eponaquest Instructor.

Please take your time, think the program over carefully, and make a mindful decision about committing to a 4-month process of personal development with a group of like-minded others.

Applicants should then thoughtfully answer the following questions and email your application as an attached Microsoft Word document to Anne Steuart at equinimityinfo@gmail.com. You will receive prompt confirmation of receipt of your application, followed by email notification as to whether or not you passed the initial screening phase of the application process. Phone interviews for those passing will then be scheduled. The application process will continue until the program is full and a waiting list is established.
