To my Equinimity friends and family,

After nearly a decade, it’s time to say farewell to my equine facilitated learning (EFL) practice. What began as an individual quest for deeper self-awareness and personal growth – with horses as guides as differentiated from more traditional approaches – took me far outside my comfort zone and well beyond my wildest personal and professional aspirations.

Along the way, in transitioning from my lengthy and predictable career in human services to ‘beginners-mind’ student of EFL and advanced practitioner, I met many other like-minded folks – colleagues and clients alike. This awesome community supported and inspired me, making working outdoors in nature with horses as partners, an absolute pleasure. My appreciation to all those I encountered along the way.

Deepest gratitude to my esteemed colleagues and guides: Carol Roush, founder of Medicine Horse Way International and the Nature of Wisdom EFL Programs; Mary-Louise Gould, former Senior Faculty at Eponaquest Worldwide; Linda Kohanov, founder of Eponaquest Worldwide.

Special thanks also my husband Chris and my equine partners, Belle, Taliesin, and Joker, all of whom showed me without judgment how to better walk my talk.

I hope you, my friends, enjoy the ride as much as I have!

You can reach me at equinimityinfo@gmail.com if you’d like to get in touch.

Heart hugs,

Anne Steuart
