Anne Steuart, Equinimity's owner
and lead facilitator, grew up riding horses
across the rolling hills of central Maryland's
horse country. Ever passionate about horses,
she learned of Linda Kohanov's work in 2005,
completed the Eponaquest Apprenticeship Program
in 2008 under Linda's supervision, and became
an Eponaquest Advanced Instructor in 2010. In
that capacity, Anne teaches leadership skills
development, non-verbal communication, conflict
resolution, personal empowerment, and emotional
and energetic agility using Eponaquest Approach™
techniques and tools in two, four, and six-day

Advancement, and two leadership/organizational
development programs, Anne brings to her EFL
practice over 25 years experience as a coach,
executive and administrator in the employment
and training/workforce development field. In
addition, she has studied the principles and
theory of transformational mediation and conflict
resolution with Louise
Phipps Senft, Esq., a nationally recognized
innovator in the field and Principal of Baltimore
Mediation, Inc. Anne also explored the fundamentals
of the Enneagram, a powerful system of nine
personality types that builds self-awareness
and enriches interactions with others, with
author and international lecturer Helen
Palmer at the Harvard Law School's Negotiation
Insight Initiative. More recently, Anne studied
Resistance Free® riding and equine
training methods with Richard
Shrake, nationally recognized horsemanship
clinician, riding instructor, international
judge, and author.
Anne lives in Owings Mills, Maryland, with her
family and their Samoyed dog.
has long been interested in studying the mind-body
connection, beginning in 1983. She has studied
massage and the mind-body connection at The
Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in
San Diego, California, and advanced massage
therapy programs at the Desert Institute of
Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona. Carol has partnered
with physical therapists, chiropractors, doctors,
and psychiatrists to provide massage therapy
and body-mind awareness for their patients.
She has worked with a variety of emotional issues
related to amputations, disfiguring burns, addictions,
accident rehab, and survivors of childhood traumas.
In 2003 Carol combined her life-long love of
horses with her healing practice by graduating
from the first Eponaquest Apprenticeship program.
Upon completing the program she continued studying
for another two years under Eponaquest founder
and author Linda Kohanov and earned the status
of Advanced Instructor of Equine Facilitated
Carol, who is also a member of Eponaquest's
Senior Faculty, founded, manages, and teaches
Eponaquest's highly successful EFL Apprenticeship
Programs in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Based in Tucson, AZ, she teaches Eponaquest
advanced programs when at home, works with private
clientele, and continues to combine massage
therapy with these programs.

Dr. Christine Harness, the founder of
Harness & Associates, is a licensed clinical
psychologist with a keen understanding of both
psychological and organizational issues. With
a focus on creating work/life balance, she has
a successful track record of assisting businesses
of varying size and purpose with human behavior
at work. She partners with external professionals
to ensure the success of individuals, teams,
and business development needs with a bottom
line of enhancing your bottom line. Christine
also works with individuals in her clinical
private practice, providing psychotherapy, marital
counseling and psychological evaluations.
Christine uses a variety of techniques to uncover
the attitudes and behaviors that derail highly

Based in Milwaukee, WI, Christine is a contributing
author and primary editor of an Industrial/Organizational
psychology college text in use nationally. As
an adjunct professor, she taught psychology
courses at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee,
Marquette University, and Cardinal Stritch University.
Dr. Harness is a member in good standing of
the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin,
the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts
(AFCC), and TEMPO. She was on the board of the
Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin
as the 2011 and 2012 Chair of the southeastern
